DAVID PARAGAMIAN JOINS BLAINE PHARMACEUTICALS BUSINESS ADVISORY BOARD 

CINCINNATI, OH - February 9, 2006 - Blaine Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce the addition of David Paragamian to its Business Advisory Board.   As marketing advisor, Mr. Paragamian brings a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and will be instrumental in Blaine's marketing development and initiatives as it focuses more on the diabetes market place.

David is currently the Chief Operating Officer, of GSW Worldwide Advertising, inChord Communications in Columbus, Ohio.  As a senior agency executive, he has demonstrated leadership skills, a proven track record as a general manager and a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. David has delivered outstanding results both on the client side for more than 15 years, as well as general manager for almost 6 years in agency cultures. David has established himself in such companies as Rhone Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals (now Sanofi-Aventis), Roche Diagnostics, Information Resources, Inc., and Publicis Healthcare/ Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising.                      

Blaine Pharmaceuticals has already gained over-the-counter distribution for its flagship product, Mag-Ox 400^® in over 28,000 locations, including Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy, Rite Aid, Kroger, Brooks/Eckerd, Albertson's and other fine retailers.  This move represents one of the first steps in a bold, new sales and marketing strategy for the company - which had traditionally marketed its products directly to physicians and pharmacists - and for the product, which had previously been sold behind the counter (even though no prescription was required). David's advisory role will be key in launching several new products in 2006.
