Blaine Mag-Ox 400® Adds Nearly 800 More Stores to Distribution List
-Product continues to take over coveted shelf space from competition -

Blaine Pharmaceuticals, a distributor of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, announced today that it has signed agreements with BI-LO, Snyders Drug Stores, Brooks Pharmacies and Discount Drug Mart to sell Blaine Mag-Ox 400®, the #1 doctor-recommended magnesium supplement on the market, in their over-the-counter vitamin sections. With this move, the company adds nearly 800 new locations where consumers can now find Mag-Ox 400 over-the-counter.

These new agreements are a continuation of a bold, new product re-positioning strategy the company announced in August. Previously, Blaine had marketed Mag-Ox 400 directly to physicians and pharmacists, selling the product behind the counter, even though no prescription was required. Today, Blaine is moving out from behind the counter, taking over much coveted shelf space from its rivals.

"Mag-Ox 400, with its "dissolution difference" provides distinct advantages to consumers, enabling them to get a greater amount of magnesium with less dosing," said Rich Razgaitis, President, Blaine Pharmaceuticals. "We are happy that more and more stores are choosing to bring these advantages directly to their customers."

"For the past 75 years, Snyders Drug Stores has built its reputation by offering top-quality products at fair prices," said Mike Dobbe, Senior Category Manager of Snyders. "We've chosen to offer Mag-Ox 400 because it is a category-leading product that can truly benefit our customers."

To date, Blaine has been able to gain distribution with nearly 7,000 drugstores nationwide, including CVS and Albertsons. In addition, Mag-Ox 400 will remain behind the counter at approximately 70% of the stores in which it is sold.
